ANGUS FILSHIE - OSTEOPATH
Angus Filshie is a state registered Osteopath who trained for four years at the British School of Osteopathy, obtaining a General Osteopathic Council recognised BSc Hons.
He has been a practising Osteopathy in Nottingham since 2001.
His particular interests are manipulative treatment, necks, backs, soft tissue massage and the treatment of sports injuries. In 2004 Angus studied Acupuncture with the British Medical Acupuncture Society and is able to use these skills in his treatment. Since becoming an Osteopath Angus has continued to be fascinated by how the mind and body works together and has also qualified in Hypnotherapy and Personal Training. Angus is a keen cyclist and runner and has completed may marathons and half marathons. A typical session with Angus will include taking an osteopathic case history, osteopathic evaluation and treatment consisting of hands on manipulation , muscle energy techniques, soft tissue massage, ultrasound, medical acupuncture and stretch advice. He currently practices at The Filshie Clinic most days but his main treatment days are Monday afternoons, Tuesday-(with late evening appointments) Wednesday, Thursday, and Fridays.
